Proposed Maine Windfarms have Residents and Developers at Odds

Developers in poor rural counties in Maine face stiff opposition to the 300 proposed wind turbines. The project in Somerset County and neighboring Piscataquis County is expected to cost 1 to 2 billion dollars and increase tax revenues by 9 million dollars per year.
